Francis Bowditch Wilby (b. April 24, 1883, Detroit, Mich.-d. Nov. 20, 1965), Major General in the U.S. Army, was commissioned in the Corps of Engineers upon graduation from West Point in 1905. He served as a member of the Mississippi River Commission from 1935 to 1938, and the Beach Erosion Board.
